Prof. Chantal Epie

PROF. CHANTAL EPIE - IWFI

Chantal Epie is a Professor of Human Resource Management at Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from Business School Lausanne, an MSc Organizational Behavior from Birkbeck College (University of London) and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Paris. Prof. Epie has over thirty-five years of experience as a management trainer and consultant. She teaches on the undergraduate program in Elements of Management, Business Communication and Organizational Behavior. Prior to joining the School of Management and Social Sciences in 2014, Prof. Epié had been a member of the LBS faculty since 1993. Professor Chantal Epié is a professor of human resources management. She has over 30 years’ experience as a management trainer. She teaches management communication, organizational behavior and personal skills (negotiation, time management, personal effectiveness, speedreading and so on) in LBS programs, and has written over 50 cases and technical notes for these courses. She is also a visiting professor of business ethics and management at the MDE Business School, formerly known as Institut de Hautes Etudes – Afrique (IHE), Abidjan.

 

Prof. Epié graduated in Law from the University of Paris, later obtained an MSc in Organizational Behavior from the University of London, and then a Doctorate in Business Administration from Business School Lausanne. She is also a certified MBTI practitioner. Her past research was in negotiation, teamwork and work stress. The focus of her current research is work-family integration and the organizational benefits of work-life balance. She is a director of the Institute for Work and Family Integration (IWFI), a non-profit initiative to promote work-family balance in Nigeria.
